The brief was clear! The client was lagging behind on Gender Diversity in their leadership roles. They were sitting on 11 open roles for director level positions however the inflow of diversity resumes was poor.
Diversity Hire partnered with the client and started a LinkedIN campaign (advertising and targeted posts) aimed towards an inflow of interests from across the country. 76 responses were received and they were processes against the 11 open jobs. The client was also briefed to reduce criteria and look at candidates that matched 75-80% of the role. In all 3 offers were extended and 2 candidates successfully on boarded in the month of Jan’18.
Client needs to ramp up their gender diversity numbers across multiple roles.
Challenge: Business is supportive but says they cannot hold onto a position and will close with the 1st eligible candidate.
Solution: Diversity Hire partnered with its parent company Think People and studied the demand cycle over the last 9 months. The team identified a list of 6 skills with 9 combinations that were repetitive over the last 9 months. The team at Diversity Hire then sourced candidates on these skills across the country. These resumes were then presented to the client with a proposition that once the business shortlists them, Diversity Hire will fly them in for the interviews. A total of 165 resumes were submitted and 116 were shortlisted for interviews. On the 28th of Oct, 103 woman candidates attended the interview and a total of 29 offers were rolled out.
The company has been pursuing diversity as a cause for almost 2 years. Challenge was identifying and hiring gender diversity. Diversity Hire dug into its own network of candidates and presented to the client a list of candidates who were interested and willing to work for them. The team ran email and call campaigns and understood how the brand is perceived as by the target audience. The same info too was presented to the client. The result, is that the client reworked on their branding and interviewed 43 candidates from 1 city and extended 11 offers.
